Pakistan’s spinner Nauman Ali has shattered a 37-year-old record set by the legendary leg-spinner Abdul Qadir.Nauman has now become the Pakistani bowler with the most wickets in five consecutive Test matches, claiming 46 wickets between his 16th and 20th Tests.
Previously, Abdul Qadir had taken 44 wickets between his 48th and 52nd Tests during 1987-88.Nauman Ali has also emerged as the most successful spinner in the world over the past 12 months.

In the Lahore Test against South Africa, he claimed 10 wickets, while earlier this year he took 6 and 10 wickets in the two Tests against West Indies.Against England, he picked up 11 wickets in Multan and 9 wickets in Rawalpindi, further solidifying his position as one of Pakistan’s most consistent bowlers.
