We Are Fully Ready for the World Cup, Says Salman Ali Agha

Pakistan’s T20 captain Salman Ali Agha said that the team is now completely prepared for the World Cup.

Speaking after Pakistan’s victory over Sri Lanka in the Tri-Nation Series final at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, he said the series proved to be excellent for the team.

He added that the aim was to prepare a strong group of 15 players before the 2026 T20 World Cup, and that preparation is now complete.The captain further said that every player is performing well and the team is fully ready for the mega event.

It is worth noting that Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final of the T20 Tri-Series to claim the title.

Sri Lanka had set a target of 115 runs, which Pakistan successfully chased down with 8 balls to spare.
