Sharjah: Spinner Abrar Ahmed starred with four wickets as Pakistan secured a 31-run victory over the UAE in their second game of the T20 tri-series on Thursday.Set a target of 172, the UAE could only manage 140 for 7 despite a fighting 68 from Alishan Sharafu.
Earlier, Fakhar Zaman guided Pakistan to a competitive total with a brilliant unbeaten 77 off 44 balls. His knock included 10 fours and two sixes, while Mohammad Nawaz chipped in with 37 not out as the pair put on an unbroken 91-run partnership.

Pakistan’s innings had started shakily after choosing to bat first, with Sahibzada Farhan (16), Saim Ayub (11), Salman Agha (7), Mohammad Haris (14), and Hasan Nawaz (4) all dismissed cheaply, leaving the team struggling at 80 for 5 in the 12th over.
Fakhar and Nawaz then steadied the ship, lifting Pakistan to 171 for 5. In reply, Abrar Ahmed’s four-wicket haul ensured the UAE never threatened the chase, sealing a comfortable win for Pakistan.
