Dubai: 24 hours after the handshake controversy in the Asia Cup cricket tournament ended, Indian media and Indian officials working in the ICC have tried to involve the Pakistani cricket team in another controversy. The ICC has objected to the making of a video of the match referee’s apology and its release to the media.According to Indian media, before the Asia Cup match against the United Arab Emirates in Dubai on Wednesday, when match referee Andy Pycroft apologized in the presence of ICC officials and team management, Pakistani team media manager Naeem Gilani violated tournament rules by filming in the players’ match officials’ area.

The ICC has sent an email to the Pakistan Cricket Board citing ‘mismanagement’ and ‘multiple breaches’ of the Players and Match Officials Area (PMOA) protocol ahead of Wednesday’s match.Sources say that ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta has written to the PCB that a member of the Pakistani team management has been found guilty of repeated violations of the PMOA on match days.

According to details, important decisions are expected in the ACC meeting scheduled for September 30.The meeting is likely to be turbulent due to the Indian team’s refusal to shake hands with the Pakistan team during the Asia Cup and the match referee’s biased behavior.
