According to Cricket Australia, the wicketkeeper batter will retire from all formats after the upcoming series against India.The thirty five year old Alyssa Healy began her international career in two thousand ten. She scored more than seven thousand runs in two hundred ninety five international matches and recorded two hundred seventy five dismissals behind the stumps.
She took over full time captaincy duties in two thousand twenty three and was part of eight ICC World Cup title winning squads.Alyssa Healy is the wife of Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc.

Alyssa Healy said she is announcing her retirement after the series against India with mixed emotions. She added that while she still has the passion to play for Australia, the competitive edge may no longer be there, making this the right time to step away.
She further stated that she will not be part of the T20 team, but will play her final one day international and Test matches against India on home grounds.
