There is no possibility of a large-scale change in the players on the issue of central contracts of national cricketers for 2025-26 .According to sources, consultations regarding the central contracts of coaches, directors of high performance, finance and international departments have entered the final stage. The contracts will be announced after the approval of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. This is the last year of the three-year financial model of the central contract.According to sources, the most changes are likely to occur in the D category, after which the departure of several players has been confirmed, several new players will make their place, while some players are likely to be given central contracts for the first time.

Sources claim that the departure of those who are no longer part of any of the three formats has been confirmed. Hassan Nawaz, Muhammad Haris, Safyan Muqim, Hassan Ali, Faheem Ashraf and Fakhar Zaman are likely to be included in the central contract.Consultations are ongoing on the names of Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Muhammad Nawaz and Sahibzada Farhan, however, sources have indicated the possibility of these cricketers also being included. On the other hand, it is difficult for Aamir Jamal, Muhammad Harira, Hasibullah Usman Khan and Muhammad Ali to find a place in the central contract.
