Renowned cricket umpire Dickie Bird has died at the age of 92.He officiated in 66 Test matches, 69 One Day Internationals, and 7 Women’s ODIs.
Hailing from England, Dickie Bird also umpired in 69 ODIs, including World Cup finals.
He played 93 first-class matches as well, and during his career, he enjoyed great popularity among players and fans. Yorkshire County Cricket Club has expressed sorrow over his demise.
