Due to Bangladesh’s decision not to travel to India for the T20 World Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board has shown willingness to host Bangladesh’s fixtures. The matter is currently under consideration by the International Cricket Council.
According to PCB sources, if venues in Sri Lanka are not available, Pakistan’s venues are ready to host the matches. They added that since Pakistan has already successfully hosted the Champions Trophy and the ICC Women’s Qualifier, these matches can also be conducted smoothly.

PCB sources further stated that all Pakistani venues are fully prepared to host T20 World Cup matches.
It is worth recalling that Bangladesh has decided not to travel to India for the World Cup matches. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has raised security concerns regarding the team’s safety in India.
In this regard, the ICC has to make a final decision on whether Bangladesh’s matches will be shifted from India or not.
