Cricketers representing the United States in the T20 World Cup have also become victims of India’s hostile attitude, as visas for four players with Pakistani background were denied.According to reports, the visas of all four players were rejected due to their Pakistani heritage.
Fast bowler Ali Khan announced the visa rejection on social media. Reports further state that the visas of Ehsan Adil and Mohammad Mohsin have also been denied.The United States is placed in a group alongside Pakistan, India, Namibia, and the Netherlands. The US team will play its first match against India on February seven.
In the group stage, three out of four US matches are scheduled in India. The match against India will be played in Mumbai, while the games against the Netherlands and Namibia will take place in Chennai.
