Lahore Qalandars became the first team to hit 100 sixes in 2 editions of the HBL PSL. In the recent edition, the Lahore team has hit 110 sixes so far. Earlier, in the 2003 edition, Qalandars batsmen had hit 100 sixes while charging hard.This is the first time in the history of the Pakistan Super League that the Qalandars have managed to defeat the Karachi Kings twice in a single season.Earlier, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 202 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. For Qalandars, Kushal Perera was the standout batsman with 61 runs. Mohammad Naeem scored 50, Abdullah Shafiq 25, Bhanuka Rajapaksa 22, Asif Ali 15, Fakhar Zaman 12 while Shakib Al Hasan was dismissed without scoring a run.It should be remembered that the final between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators will be played on Sunday, May 25, at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
