Lahore Qalandars hold cricket trials in Jhelum, thousands of youth participate

At the invitation of Minister of State for Finance and Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani, the leading franchise of the Pakistan Super League, Lahore Qalandars, successfully held cricket trials in Jhelum.Thousands of young cricketers showcased their talents in this event in the presence of international cricketer Haris Rauf.The US Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires, Natalie Baker, also attended the event. She met and encouraged the Lahore Qalandars players and youth participating in the trials.Bilal Azhar Kiani thanked Lahore Qalandars CEO Atif Rana, Sameen Rana, Haris Rauf and Natalie Baker for coming to Jhelum on this occasion. He said that the aim of these trials is to bring out the cricketing talent of the youth of Jhelum and provide them with opportunities to progress.Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani also welcomed the Lahore Qalandars’ plan to establish a high-performance center in Jhelum, which will further promote the development of cricket in the region.
