Islamabad United has announced that Australian player Matthew Short will not play in the rest of PSL 10. He got injured again. This is the same injury he had during the ICC Champions Trophy. Although he felt better when he came to Pakistan, he was in pain during practice.
After checking him, the team’s doctors and Cricket Australia’s doctors decided it’s better for him to leave the tournament and focus on his recovery.
Matthew Short has gone back to Australia for treatment. Islamabad United thanked him for his good attitude and wished him a quick recovery. They haven’t picked anyone to replace him yet. Islamabad United has won three out of three matches and is at the top of the table. They will play With Karachi Kings on Sunday at National Stadium Karachi.
