Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has decided not to return to India for the remaining Indian Premier League (IPL) matches.
According to Australian media, Starc has pulled out due to safety concerns and rising tensions in the region. He has officially informed his team, Delhi Capitals, about his unavailability for the rest of the season.
Starc was also present during a match in Dharamsala that was interrupted due to a power outage. His wife, cricketer Alyssa Healy, spoke publicly about the situation there in an interview.

Meanwhile, fellow Aussie pacer Josh Hazlewood, despite a shoulder issue, is set to return and will join Royal Challengers Bangalore before the playoffs. Australian captain Pat Cummins and Travis Head will also rejoin their IPL teams.
Cricket Australia is expected to release an official update soon regarding the availability of its players.
