Pakistan hockey team captain Imad Shakeel Butt met Federal Interior Minister and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore, where they discussed the welfare of national hockey players and the issue of the Pro Hockey League. During the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi announced a cash prize of Rs 10 million for the hockey players.

Imad Butt congratulated Naqvi on receiving the Nishan-e-Imtiaz and briefed him on the challenges of reviving hockey and ensuring Pakistan’s participation in the Pro Hockey League. Mohsin Naqvi assured that the PCB’s professional medical team will handle players’ medical and fitness cases, while visa and logistics support will also be provided. He emphasized that qualifying for the Pro Hockey League is an honor for Pakistan and vowed to make every effort to ensure the national team’s participation.
