In the second ODI, South Africa defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets, leveling the series 1–1. The match, played at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, saw a dominant performance from the visitors led by Quinton de Kock’s brilliant unbeaten century.

Batting first, Pakistan posted a total of 269 runs for 9 wickets in their 50 overs. Agha Salman, Saima Ayub, and Mohammad Nawaz impressed with half-centuries. Salman scored 50 off 82 balls with three fours, while Nawaz smashed 56 off 56 balls, including three fours and three sixes. Saima Ayub added 53 valuable runs.

In reply, South Africa comfortably chased down the target in the 41st over, losing only two wickets. De Kock remained not out on 123, smashing 7 sixes and 8 fours, while Tony de Zorzi contributed 76 runs and Pretorius added 46. For Pakistan, Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Faheem Ashraf took one wicket each.

Both teams had made two changes for this game. Pakistan brought in Faheem Ashraf and Wasim Jr., while Hasan Nawaz and Abrar Ahmed were left out.

The decider of the three-match series will be played on November 8 at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.
