Pakistani women cricketers have climbed the ICC Women’s T20 rankings after strong performances in the recent series against Ireland.Muniba Ali rose three spots to 32nd place after guiding Pakistan to victory in the final match with an unbeaten century. All-rounder Fatima Sana also moved up four places to 59th in the batting rankings following her solid contributions with the bat.
Spinner Sadia Iqbal, despite taking fewer wickets, retained her position as the world’s second-ranked T20 bowler.

From the Irish side, all-rounder Orla Prendergast made a big impact, scoring 144 runs at an average of 72 and taking four wickets. Her outstanding all-round performance earned her the Player of the Series award and pushed her up to 19th in the batting rankings and 6th among all-rounders. Ireland’s captain Laura Delaney climbed to 50th in batting, and Rebecca Stokel rose to 77th.
In the bowling rankings, Australia’s Annabelle Sutherland became the world’s number one T20 bowler for the first time, despite not playing recently. Her 736 points stayed the same, while other top bowlers lost points.
Ireland won the three-match series 2-1 against Pakistan, with Prendergast playing a key role in both batting and bowling.
