Pakistan’s top-order batsman Sahibzada Farhan set a new record in the history of T20 International cricket by hitting a six against India’s legendary fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the final of the Asia Cup 2025.Farhan became the first Pakistani batsman to hit Bumrah for a six in international cricket, while overall he is the only batsman to hit Bumrah for 3 sixes in the T20 format.In the group stage of the Asia Cup, Farhan started by hitting two sixes against Bumrah, the first six he hit over long-on boundary, while the second one was hit over short-back foot square.Farhan also played a brilliant game against Bumrah in the final of the Asia Cup 2025. He took a cautious approach in the early overs but then hit a four over cover and another four over mid-wicket, and the next moment he hit a brilliant six to put Bumrah under full pressure.So far in T20 Internationals, Farhan has scored 51 runs off 34 balls against Bumrah, which includes 3 sixes and 6 fours.
