Sources have confirmed that South Africa will tour Pakistan next month for a full all-format series, comprising two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.
The red-ball series will kick off Pakistan’s campaign in the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 cycle. Lahore will stage the opening Test from October 12, followed by the second Test in Rawalpindi starting October 20.
Attention will then shift to the limited-overs contests. The ODI series is scheduled entirely in Rawalpindi, with matches on October 28, October 30, and November 2.
The T20I leg will conclude the tour, with fixtures set for November 5, 8, and 9. Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium is the frontrunner to host these games, providing both teams with key preparation ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
This will be South Africa’s second trip to Pakistan in 2025, having previously featured in the February tri-nation series alongside New Zealand.
