Aqib Javed explained the reason for dropping Babar and Rizwan

National selector and director of the High Performance Center, Aqib Javed, has said that the doors of T20 are not closed forever for Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan.While answering questions from journalists in Lahore on the occasion of the announcement of the squad for the Asia Cup and the tri-nation series, Aqib Javed said that only those who perform will play in the national team. He said that we cannot say that Babar and Rizwan will never return to the T20 squad, the player who performs can return to the team.National selector Aqib Javed further said that a full stop cannot be put on the participation of any player.Aqib Javed said that if Babar and Rizwan perform the way the other players are performing, they will definitely play. Discussions were held with both of them and guidelines were given to them to improve some of their things.
