Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam has matched the record of Umar Akmal and Saim Ayub for the most ducks by a Pakistani player in T20 Internationals.

After scoring a half-century against Zimbabwe on Sunday and playing a key role in Pakistan’s 69-run victory, Babar Azam failed to repeat his performance in the final league match of the home T20 Tri-Series against Sri Lanka. He was dismissed for a two-ball duck.

A length delivery from Dushmantha Chameera trapped Babar Azam LBW, marking the 10th duck of his T20I career. With this, he now sits alongside Saim Ayub and Umar Akmal, who also have 10 ducks each.

Former Pakistan captain and legendary all-rounder Shahid Afridi is fourth on the list with 8 ducks in 98 T20I appearances. Kamran Akmal and Mohammad Hafeez follow with 7 ducks each.
