Due to national commitments, Pakistani cricketers will not be able to take part in the Bangladesh Premier League in its entirety.Sources say most of the players selected for the BPL are part of the national team, which makes their full participation unlikely.
According to reports, players who are permanent members of the T20 squad may not receive NOCs, although the decision regarding NOCs will be made on a case-by-case basis. The PCB has not yet declined NOCs for the BPL, but the league will run from 26 December to 23 January, during which Pakistan will tour Sri Lanka. Additionally, a home series against Australia is scheduled for late January.
Sources add that BPL franchises are aware of the situation regarding Pakistani players and may look for replacements.
Saim Ayub, Khawaja Nafeh, Sufyan Muqeem, Sahibzada Farhan and Mohammad Nawaz have been picked for the BPL. Jahandad Khan, Ihsanullah, Haider Ali, Usman Khan, Abrar Ahmed and Mohammad Amir are also selected.
