Pakistan All Out for 333 in First Innings of Second Test

Pakistan were bowled out for 333 runs in their first innings of the second and final Test against South Africa at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.Resuming the second day on 259 for 5, Pakistan added 74 more runs before being dismissed. When the total reached 316, Agha Salman was dismissed after scoring 45 runs. Just five runs later, Saud Shakeel also departed for 66. Both batters were removed by Keshav Maharaj.

Shaheen Shah Afridi followed soon after, getting bowled by Maharaj without scoring, while Sajid Khan became the ninth wicket to fall after making 5 runs, also to Maharaj. Pakistan’s innings ended at 333 when Asif Afridi was dismissed for 4.

Among the top-order batters, Imam-ul-Haq scored 17, Babar Azam 16, and Mohammad Rizwan 19. Captain Shan Masood contributed 87 runs, while Abdullah Shafique added 57, helping Pakistan build a solid foundation early on.For South Africa, Keshav Maharaj was the standout performer with 5 wickets, while Simon Harmer claimed 2.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan won the opening Test in Lahore by 93 runs, defeating the defending champions South Africa to start their 2025–27 World Test Championship campaign on a winning note.

In that match, South Africa were bowled out for 183 while chasing a target of 277 at the Gaddafi Stadium.
