Prime Minister Meets Representatives of Newly Added PSL Teams

Representatives of the two newly added Pakistan Super League teams met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.

The meeting was attended by Hamza Majeed from O Z Developers, the firm that secured the Sialkot team, and Fawad Sarwar from FKS, the company that won the Hyderabad team.Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar were also present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister congratulated the representatives of the new PSL teams and conveyed his best wishes. He also praised PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and the PCB management for successfully conducting the bidding process.Shehbaz Sharif stated that the bidding for the new teams was broadcast live, which clearly demonstrated transparency. He added that the inclusion of new teams would bring fresh energy to the PSL.

He further said it was very encouraging that international firms participated in the bidding for these two teams, reflecting the growing popularity of the PSL at the global level.
