Pakistan’s skipper Salman Ali Agha has praised Shaheen Afridi, calling him the team’s match winner. He added that spinner Abrar Ahmed has been performing well with the ball in every game, though he has yet to deliver his very best.
Talking about the upcoming challenge, Salman said the team is fully prepared to face India in the Super Four stage.On the other hand, UAE captain Muhammad Waseem credited his bowlers for restricting Pakistan to a relatively low total. He admitted that although his side has been eliminated from the tournament, the players gained valuable experience by competing at this level.
Meanwhile, today’s fixture will see Afghanistan take on Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup.
