Pakistan’s Noor Zaman reached the final of the U-23 World Squash Championship. Noor Zaman put up a brilliant performance against Malaysia’s Chandaran in the semi-final of the championship in Karachi. Noor Zaman won the first game 6-11 and also won the second game 2-11.
In the third game, Noorzaman was leading 4-6, but Chandran withdrew from the match due to injury and Noorzaman reached the final.
In the second semi-final, Egypt’s Karim El-Turki defeated compatriot and top seed Ibrahim El-Kabbani three games to one. Karim El-Turki’s winning score was 11-7, 2-11, 8-11 and 5-11. Karim El-Turki will face Pakistan’s Noor Zaman in the final tomorrow.
