Pakistan’s mystery bowler, Abrar Ahmed, who is playing for Quetta Gladiators in PSL 10, is changing his famous wicket celebration. Abrar’s signature head-nodding gesture after taking a wicket became widely recognized, but it also faced some criticism. The controversy sparked when he used this style after dismissing India’s Shubman Gill in the Champions Trophy.

However, Abrar has now decided to abandon the celebration. In an interview in Lahore, he explained that he began this style in the previous PSL season, and even used it in South Africa without any issues. However, after the Champions Trophy match against India, he realized some people didn’t appreciate it. Out of respect for others’ feelings, he chose to stop using this gesture.
