Pakistan has blocked the Indian Premier League (IPL) from being shown in the country as a reaction to India stopping the coverage of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to reports, after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Indian sports platform Fancode removed all PSL content and stopped live streaming the matches. Other Indian broadcasters like Sony Sports Network and Cricbuzz also ended their PSL coverage.
In response, Pakistan has also taken action by banning IPL streaming and coverage. This means viewers in Pakistan will no longer be able to watch IPL matches on local apps or TV channels, just like PSL is no longer shown in India.
