Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced that Rashid Khan and his squad will participate in a two-week intensive training and preparation camp before finalizing the 15-member team for the upcoming events. Their T20I tri-series journey will commence on August 29 in Sharjah, where they will face Pakistan in the tournament opener. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently confirmed the schedule of the T20I tri-nation series featuring Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the UAE, which is set to begin at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. This series is strategically designed to help the participating teams get ready and adapt to local conditions ahead of the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025, scheduled from September 9 to 28 in the UAE. According to the PCB, the series will act as a preparatory platform for the Asia Cup. Each team will face the other two sides twice, ensuring a minimum of four matches per team before the top two advance to the final, slated for September 7.
