The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 50% increase in the monthly salaries of women cricketers under the new central contracts. These contracts, prepared by the women’s selection committee and head coach Mohammad Wasim, will be effective from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. The salary increase will apply to all contract categories.
One of the main promotions goes to Sadia Iqbal, who is currently ranked number one in the ICC Women’s T20I bowling rankings. She has been placed in Category A, along with Fatima Sana, Muneeba Ali, and Sidra Amin.
Fast bowler Diana Baig has been moved from Category C to B, while off-spinner Rameen Shamim has been promoted from Category D to C. Shamim is the only player in Category C.

Aliya Riaz, who was not given a central contract last year, has returned and is now included in Category B. Nida Dar, who also missed out on a contract last year due to a dip in form and issues with the PCB, is not included this time either.
