Chasing the target of 161 runs, Pakistan could only manage 146 runs for 8 wickets in 12 overs. Salman Ali Agha was the top scorer with 45 runs.Mohammad Nawaz scored 28 runs and debutant Khawaja Nafay made 26, while Sahibzada Farhan scored 9, Saim Ayub 6, Usman Khan 1, Shadab Khan 6, and Faheem Ashraf 9 before being dismissed.
For Sri Lanka, Wanindu Hasaranga took 4 wickets, Pathirana claimed 2, and Eshan Malinga dismissed one batter.
In the first match of the series, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets, while the second match was abandoned due to rain.
