Bangladesh has refused to grant a visa to an Indian official who was part of an ICC delegation scheduled to visit the country over T20 World Cup venue matters.
According to Indian media, a two member ICC delegation was set to travel to Bangladesh to discuss issues related to World Cup venues.The ICC delegation included Head of Anti Corruption and Security Andrew Epgrave along with a senior executive of Indian origin. Bangladesh issued a visa only to the Head of Anti Corruption and Security.
Indian media reports that Andrew Epgrave will arrive in Bangladesh today for a two day visit. The purpose of the ICC delegation’s visit was to hold discussions regarding a possible change in World Cup venues.
It is worth noting that Bangladesh has already announced it will not travel to India for the World Cup due to security concerns.
