HARARE: Usman Khan’s composed 75, backed by a strong bowling effort, powered Pakistan to a comfortable win over Scotland in the 12th match of the ICC Men’s Under 19 World Cup 2026.
Pakistan chased 188 in 43.1 overs, losing four wickets. The innings wobbled early after the dismissals of Ali Hassan Baloch and Sameer Minhas, leaving Pakistan at 48 for 2. Usman Khan then added a crucial 111 run stand with Ahmed Hussain to steady the chase. Usman reached his half century in 59 balls and was eventually dismissed for 75 off 85, which included five fours and two sixes. Ahmed Hussain remained solid with 47.

Earlier, Pakistan’s bowlers dominated after opting to field. Ali Raza struck twice in the opening over and finished with four wickets as Scotland were bowled out for 187 in 47.1 overs. Spinner Momin Qamar chipped in with three wickets. For Scotland, skipper Thomas Knight top scored with 37, while Ollie Jones made 30.
