Pakistan set Sri Lanka a target of 169 runs in the third and final T20 International of the series at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, finishing their innings at 168 for eight in 20 overs.
Asked to bat first after Sri Lanka won the toss, the hosts experienced a sluggish batting performance, anchored largely by a captain’s knock from Sahibzada Farhan. Farhan led from the front with a stroke-filled 76 off 47 deliveries, while all-rounder Arafat Minhas provided crucial late acceleration with an unbeaten 34. Contributions across the rest of the order remained modest, with Hassan Nawaz making 16, Abdul Samad scoring 15, and Fakhar Zaman adding 12.
For the visitors, former captain Dasun Shanaka spearheaded the bowling effort with three wickets, supported by Nuwan Thushara and Eshan Malinga with two scalps each, and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth claiming one.
