Pakistan has bolstered its Test squad by adding four more players ahead of the upcoming two-match home series against Sri Lanka. Aamir Jamal has been drafted into the side alongside Ali Shabbir, Saqib Khan, and Mohammad Tayyab Arif, while Ali Usman and Abdullah Fazal have been officially released from the camp.
The selection marks the maiden national call-ups for Ali, Saqib, and Tayyab, who recently featured for the Patron’s XI in a practice match against the visiting Sri Lankan team. The two-match Test series will commence with the opening fixture on November 9 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, followed by the second Test starting November 17 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
