Cricket South Africa (CSA) has reversed its earlier decision regarding the Indian Premier League (IPL) after pressure from the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI). Initially, CSA had asked its players to return by May 26 to prepare for the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
However, after talks with the BCCI, CSA has now allowed its players to stay in India and complete their IPL commitments.

CSA’s Director of Cricket, Enoch Nkwe, clarified that South African players will now report for national duty on June 3 instead of May 26. He explained that the decision was made at a higher level and that training for the WTC final will begin on June 3.
