PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has shown his appreciation for the successful and smooth ending of the 10th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He said, “First of all, I thank Allah Almighty for making PSL 10 end successfully. I am truly thankful to the whole PCB and PSL team who worked hard day and night.”
He praised the discipline and energy of the cricket lovers, saying it was truly outstanding. Talking about the attack near Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, he said it was a big test to restart PSL 10 after such a cowardly act by the enemy. “But our entire team took on the challenge, and with Allah’s help, we were able to move forward. The success of PSL 10 shows that Pakistan is strong and peaceful. It’s a clear defeat for those who want to spread fear,” he added.
Mohsin Naqvi also said that organizing the event successfully was only possible due to the continuous efforts of the Pakistan Army, Rangers, Police, and other government departments. He gave special thanks to Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar, and Naval Chief Naveed Ashraf for attending the match and supporting the armed forces with their presence.
