Following the postponement of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan, all overseas players had initially moved to Dubai. Now, most of them have started returning to their home countries as uncertainty over the league’s resumption continues.
According to sources, players from South Africa, New Zealand, and England who were part of PSL franchises have flown back home. These include prominent names who had been waiting in Dubai after the sudden suspension of the tournament.

However, a few foreign players are still in Dubai as their franchises have asked them to stay for now. These include Jason Holder (West Indies), Akeal Hosein (West Indies), Kusal Mendis (Sri Lanka), and Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe). Mohammad Nabi, who is also still in Dubai, is originally from Afghanistan but is a resident of the UAE and often stays there.

It’s important to note that a decision regarding the resumption or cancellation of the remaining PSL matches is expected soon. For now, the players and franchises remain in a state of uncertainty.
