The historic Sharjah Cricket Stadium is all set to witness another grand cricket event—but this time, it will be a celebration of tape-ball cricket. What makes it special is that internationally renowned cricketers will take the field alongside top tape-ball players.
According to details, the biggest tape-ball event, the Smart Union Premier League (SPL), will be held on May 23 at the Sharjah International Cricket Stadium. Legendary and international cricket stars will be seen in action during this one-day tournament.

Eight teams will compete in this high-energy league, featuring over 20 players from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, and South Africa.
To add to the excitement, several famous Pakistani cricketers will be present, including:
Shahid Afridi, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mushtaq Ahmed, Mohammad Hafeez, Saeed Ajmal, Kamran Akmal, Imran Nazir, Sohail Tanvir, Salman Irshad, Umar Akmal, Hassan Ali, Asif Ali, Saud Shakeel, Aamer Jamal, Umar Gul, and Sharjeel Khan.
From other countries:
- Imran Tahir from South Africa
- Tillakaratne Dilshan from Sri Lanka
- Mohammad Nabi from Afghanistan
- Mohammad Azharuddin from India
Alongside them, many well-known tape-ball stars like Taimoor Mirza and Fahad Mian Channu will also participate.
