The International Cricket Council (ICC) will hold its Annual General Meetings from July 17 to 20 in Singapore, according to foreign media reports. These meetings are considered especially important this year because of the ongoing issues between Pakistan and India in cricket.
For the first time, ICC Chairman Jay Shah will lead the meeting. Key topics include possible changes to rules regarding Afghan women’s cricket and a review of the two new balls rule in One Day Internationals (ODIs).
It’s worth mentioning that the two new balls rule in ODI cricket was first introduced back in 2011, and discussions are expected on whether it should be continued or changed.
