Despite the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, Australian players are unlikely to rejoin the IPL due to ongoing safety concerns. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the league’s future remains uncertain, and Australia’s team management had already raised concerns over players like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Travis Head.

Although some IPL teams are already out of the race, a few matches are still left. The BCCI has told franchises to retain foreign players for now, but Australia’s return remains doubtful.
