Babar Azam is likely to return to Pakistan’s ODI squad for the Australia series.

Babar Azam is expected to return to Pakistan’s ODI squad for the upcoming home series against Australia national cricket team.

Selectors have held final discussions over the squad, with Fakhar Zaman, Sufiyan Muqeem, and Hunain Shah likely to earn places. Meanwhile, Faheem Ashraf and Hussain Talat could miss out, while talks continue over the inclusion of Mohammad Rizwan.

Australia will arrive in Islamabad on May 23, with the ODI series scheduled for May 30, June 2, and June 4. Pakistan’s training camp begins in Rawalpindi on May 22, where the team will also play a warm up match.
