The Pakistan Cricket Board has imposed a two-year ban on Zimbabwean cricketer Blessing Muzarabani from participating in the Pakistan Super League.

According to the PCB, the decision was taken after Muzarabani violated the terms of his PSL contract.

It is worth noting that after signing with the PSL, Blessing Muzarabani later joined the Indian Premier League instead, which led to the breach of agreement.

The PCB stated that professional cricket is built on trust and the commitment to contracts. In franchise leagues, players are expected to maintain transparency and consistency in their professional conduct.

The board further added that this ban is a necessary step to protect the professional standards of the PSL. It emphasized that honoring contracts is essential and that the behavior of all players and their agents must align with the integrity and reputation of the tournament.
