The Indian cricket team is likely to tour Bangladesh for a white-ball series in the near future, according to recent media reports.
Reports suggest that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has invited bids for television and digital media rights for its home international series scheduled for 2026 and 2027, with the potential series against India specifically highlighted.
India’s tour of Bangladesh had originally been scheduled last year, but it was postponed due to diplomatic tensions between the two neighboring countries.
According to reports, the proposed tour could feature a six-match white-ball series, including three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals between India and Bangladesh.
However, neither the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) nor the Bangladesh Cricket Board has officially commented on the development so far.
Media reports further reveal that BCB’s media rights package for upcoming home series also includes a five-match ODI series against Pakistan, currently scheduled for 2027.
