The head coach of the Ireland cricket team has officially announced his resignation.
According to Cricket Ireland, Heinrich Malan has been serving as Ireland’s head coach for the last four years, and his contract had recently been extended until early 2027.
Under Heinrich Malan’s coaching, Ireland achieved a remarkable milestone by whitewashing India in a T20I series.
Speaking about his decision, Malan said that working with the players, coaching staff, and the entire Irish cricket family has been a great honor for him.
He added that together they achieved several historic successes on the field, making his time with the team a memorable chapter in his coaching career.
