The stage is set for a historic cricketing encounter as the Pakistan Women’s U19 team prepares to face the South Africa Women’s U19 team in the first of a five-match T20 series. The opening clash is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

The official trophy unveiling ceremony took place today, featuring captains Fizza Fiaz (Pakistan) and Mieke van Voorst (South Africa). During the ceremony, Pakistan captain Fizza Fiaz emphasized the significance of this series for the development of young players, expressing optimism about her team’s ability to deliver strong performances. Visiting captain Mieke van Voorst shared her excitement about the maiden tour to Pakistan, noting that she would love to have the opportunity to meet stars like Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi during their stay.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), all matches of the series will be held at the National Bank Stadium, with each game commencing at 7:00 PM local time. The series serves as crucial preparation for both sides ahead of the upcoming ACC Women’s U19 T20 Asia Cup and the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup.

Fans can catch the action live, as the entire series will be broadcast on Geo Super and PTV Sports.
