The Pakistan Cricket Board has written a letter to the International Cricket Council supporting Bangladesh’s stance of not playing T20 World Cup matches in India.
According to media reports, the PCB also sent the letter to ICC board members. The ICC has called a board meeting today to discuss the matter, where Bangladesh’s decision not to travel to India will be reviewed.
There is little chance that the venues for Bangladesh’s matches will be changed, although the PCB has proposed hosting Bangladesh’s matches in Pakistan.
It is worth noting that Bangladesh has decided not to go to India for the World Cup due to security concerns. In discussions with the ICC, Bangladesh has continued to stand by its position.
