Karachi Kings’ bowling coach Shaun Tait expressed admiration for Hasan Ali’s leadership qualities, especially highlighting his role in guiding and supporting younger players within the squad. Speaking at a post-match press conference, Tait described Hasan not only as a key figure in the team but jokingly referred to him as “almost like a bowling coach” due to his active involvement with the bowling unit.
He noted that Hasan consistently steps up as a leader, offering valuable advice and encouragement to emerging players. “He leads from the front and is always willing to assist the younger guys. As a bowling leader, he’s excellent. I’ve worked with him before and at this point in his career, I don’t need to guide him much—he knows what he’s doing,” Tait added. Reflecting on Karachi Kings’ narrow loss to Quetta Gladiators, he admitted the team should have sealed the win and emphasized that the batting unit must show more accountability in high-pressure moments. “We should’ve won today. Someone in the batting line-up needed to take charge and finish the game,” he said.
