Pakistan women’s cricket team opener Gull Feroza has shared a strong opinion about the team’s participation in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, which is set to take place in India.

Although India is the official host of the tournament, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has already stated that the women’s team will not be traveling there. He mentioned that Pakistan’s participation will follow the “Fusion Formula,” the same plan discussed earlier for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. Speaking to a digital platform, Gull Feroza clearly said that the team is not interested in playing in India. “It’s clear we won’t be playing the World Cup in India, and we’re not interested either,” she said. She also added that they are hopeful of playing in Sri Lanka or Dubai instead, where the playing conditions are similar to those in Pakistan.
