Pakistan’s Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem’s Instagram account has been blocked in India. According to Instagram, the move was made following a “legal request” from Indian authorities, claiming the content violated local laws. While his Instagram is not viewable in India, his account on X (formerly Twitter) remains accessible.

The block follows a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, after which India began restricting access to several Pakistani social media accounts. Earlier, YouTube channels of Shoaib Akhtar and Basit Ali were also banned in India. Arshad Nadeem gained massive popularity after defeating Neeraj Chopra with a 92.97m throw in the Paris Olympics.
