ICC T20 rankings released, Babar and Rizwan downgraded

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released new rankings of players in the T20 format . In the new rankings released, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has now dropped out of the top ten.According to the latest rankings released by the ICC, the national team’s young wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris has made significant progress in the rankings, reaching 30th position after a stellar performance against Bangladesh.On the other hand, young batter Hassan Nawaz has also risen rapidly in the rankings to 45th position, Saim Ayub to 61st, and captain Salman Agha to 76th position.Former national team captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have dropped 3 places and 1 place respectively to 12th and 13th positions.

In the ICC T20 rankings for batsmen, Australia’s Travis Head is in first place, India’s Abhishek Sharma is in second place, and English batter Phil Salt is in third place.The T20 bowlers’ ranking does not include any Pakistani bowlers. New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy is at number one, West Indies’ Aqeel Hussain is at number two and India’s Varun Chakraborty is at number three.Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi have dropped 2 places and 5 places respectively to 20th and 36th place respectively. Abbas Afridi has moved up 18 places to 21st place.
